Two very popular items are no longer on the menu - crab cakes (which I planned on ordering) and fish tacos. service was not well organized, to say the least. Our most recent dining experience was just short of irritating and the. We have been loyal diners at this restaurant for over 2 decades. We left the restaurant with a bid taste in our mouths, and we cancelled an upcoming reservation for Father's Day weekend. In the future, I will look for another restaurant, but if we do come again, I will definitely ask for a different waiter. It was a very disappointing meal and I was embarrassed as I told my friend that it was a nice restaurant and the atmosphere was friendly. The food has always been good as well as the service. I have been to this restaurant several times and have never felt this type of disregard in the past. We had no complaints about the food It was delicious and our initial greeting was welcoming. Maybe it was because we were women or because we were women of color but whatever the reason it ruined the entire experience. I am not sure what the reason was for the initial disregard for us. Michael still never answer the question and continue to speak to us rudely as though we were asking him something unreasonable. Went to the restaurant today after a very pleasant day going in the local shops. Located immediately after you come over the bridge from New Hope. There was ample street parking but your best bet is find a spot in their parking lot. The prices were very reasonable and the service turned out to be excellent and friendly. The burger was tasty and held up well in the brioche bun. My burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were seasoned nicely where I did not have to add salt or pepper. French fries were extra but I still ordered them. I ordered the Black Angus Burger with cheddar cheese and mushrooms. Really nice selection of fresh and tasty breads. We began our meal with the homemade bread basket. It took several minutes for us to get attention. Service started out really slow and it did not seem like anyone wanted to serve us. You can see the old railroad tracks outside the window. We visited on a quiet Monday afternoon after the lunch rush so we did not have reservations. How could their front desk and event planner both suddenly find an overlooked party so large that it took up the whole room and made my previously booked party insignificant to them? This was a callous act on their part that reeks of mismanagement and lack of character.

Yesterday I was called by another employee of the Lambertville Inn to advise me they had inadvertently overlooked another party scheduled for that date and could no longer provide space for my party in that room.

He further advised he would call me a week before for an update on the number attending. The next day their employee Sebastion called me to again confirm the desired date and advised me that no other commitment was required by me. The front desk confirmed they had no other reservations for that specific date and could easily handle my party of 40 in their ballroom. A month ago I stopped here to book my wife's surprise birthday brunch in November.
